Roman Minin «Sektor Gaza»

A state of flux, racing with death in circle whose diameter is limited by the breadth of our consciousness. The geographical name of a distant territory of unresolved permanent military conflicts is so close and familiar to my generation thanks to a popular rock band.

It was especially popular for its recklessness in the miners lands and it seemed to be a form of protest against the regime of the USSR. It was an accessible form of protest, when you could just to open a window and turn on a real 18+ rock for the whole neighbourhood, it was necessary for many.

Back then I pondered how relevant Gaza Strip is to our realities, and now it is obvious. I think these parallels are a monumental decoration of the mentality of the eastern Ukrainian region.
